Overview

Paindane Beach Resort is situated 28 km South of Inhambane and is nestled amongst plantations of Coconut palms and miles of sun-bleached beaches.

The self catering basic rustic chalets and campsites at Paindane are on the dunes which are a stones throw from the beach.

On selected campsites baraccas are available for hire. The baraccas are cool traditional shelters with modern clean ablutions and electrical plug points as well as water.

Paindane Accommodation facilities offers you the following:

The basic rustic Mozambique style chalets consist of one or two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a dining room.

The large basic rustic Mozambique style chalets have four separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining room.

The Chalets are fully equipped, but please ensure to bring your own towels and mosquito nets as well as your own black rubbish bags.

All boats must be left on the beach at the Dive Centre. Security Guards will be available 24 hrs . All loose equipment must be removed.

Kindly take note: only use the roads and the one foot path down to the beach. Do not make paths down the dunes or cut any vegetation on the dunes to make foot paths.

Camping at Paindane: Campers using the well laid out campsites with their stunning view of paindane bay, will have access to clean modern ablutions, electrical plug points and clean water

All campsites at Paindane can accommodate 12 people. The campsites are sand, as we are on the side of a dune. We cannot plant grass as we do not have the fresh watersupply for this.

The campsites are sloped and not terraced, as this will prevent clients with trailers and campers to get on to the camp sites.
Baraccas are traditional shelters, available on selected campsites. These shelters consist of a thatched structure with a concrete floor and plugpoints.
The casitas are large baraccas, each with its own ablution facilities, and an adjoining kitchenette. Casitas have ½ cement floor and ½ sand, as some clients like to erect their tents under the roof.

WE HAVE ELECTRICITY NOW FOR 24 HOURS!

BUT WE ARE IN AFRICA - YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN GENERATOR AS WE DO HAVE POWER FAILURES FROM TIME TO TIME.

About the Paindane area:
The outstanding element of Paindane is the reef which protrudes north approximately 800 meters parallel to the beach, which forms a natural bay which is protected from the destruction of powerful ocean currents and waves. This bay is ideal for the launching boats as well as bathing and snorkeling.

Paindane bay is home to a coral garden, acclaimed to be one of the best on the African coast. The variety of soft and hard coral boast an array of colours that must be seen to be believed.
The abundance of hundreds of species of tropical fish that adorn this coral reef makes Paindane unique, and a must for all snorklers and divers. The natural bay is an ideal playground for all watersport enthusiasts.

Deep sea, rock, surf and fly fishing off the Paindane reef is unrivalled on the east coast of Africa. An abundance of Kingfish, Cuta, Natal Snoek, Wahoo, Dorado, Queenfish, Tuna and many other pelagic species roam the reef. Billfish are also in abundance.

Sailfish and Marlin are regularly caught by those who target them. No serious angler should miss the opportunity to fish this paradise.
Due to the locality of the estate access can be gained with vehicles that with have diff – lock (4x2) and or (4x4) capability.
