Nghunghwa Lodge in Bilene, Mozambique - Enjoy magnificent views of the Ujembe Lagoon from one of 12 luxury houses scattered between trees and dune brush. Guests can choose between 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom units or the Presidential Suite.

Nghunghwa Lodge offers luxury accommodation in the form of -

7 x 2 Bedroom houses - 4 sleepers - 2 en suite bathrooms. Fully equipped self catering kitchen. Aircon.

4 x 3 Bedroom houses - 6 sleepers - 3 en suite bathrooms. Fully equipped self catering kitchen. Aircon.

And a Presidential Suite - Presidential / Honeymoon Suite.
The presidential suite has a spacious room with Super Kingsize Double bed.
The unit also has a lounge area with guest toilet.
The lodge can accommodate 54 people (2 people per room - Double or 2 Singles)

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are air-conditioned, and all houses have spacious patios overlooking the lagoon. Houses are serviced daily. Except for the Presidential Suite, all houses have fully equipped kitchens with full sized fridge & freezer, gas stove, microwave oven and kettle. For guests that wish to self-cater, there is a Saverite (Shoprite) in Macia en route to Bilene (about 32km from Bilene) and in Bilene itself there is a market where fresh veggies and bread can be purchased, as well as some liquor, although it is rather expensive. Fresh fish and prawns can be bought from local fishermen at the resort.
All towels and linen are provided. The houses all have wireless internet connection, and for those interested in watching some TV, this can be done at the bar.

Dining - The Lodge has an La Carte Restaurant and a bar with a lively upbeat atmosphere. Nghunghwa Lodge's restaurant has a seating capacity of 120 people and offer spectacular views of the beach area and lagoon. For groups or events, seating can be arranged as per customer's requirements.

The bar at Nghunghwa Lodge is a popular gathering spot and offer seating for 40 guests. Views of the lagoon and beach area can be enjoyed from all sides of the bar counter.
The menu has a mediterranean tone and all dishes are prepared freshly. Buffet lunch and dinner options are available for groups, weddings and events.

Please Note - The lodge is built against a dune and therefore have walkways with stairs leading to each house. Elderly guests or guests with a health condition should first contact the lodge to discuss the availability of special care.

Nghunghwa Lodge is situated on the southern banks of the Ujembe lagoon and require the use of 4×4 vehicles to reach the lodge by road. If you do not want to drive around the lagoon or do not have a 4×4 vehicle, we can offer boat transfers from Bilene town and can assist with arranging parking in Bilene. Bilene town can be reached by tar road.
