Overview

Coco Rico Resort in Ponta do Ouro is nestled against the backdrop of the ocean.
Approximately 600 km from Johannesburg and 400 km from Durban.
It is embedded in the most southern part of Mozambique, approximately 12 km from the Manguzi - Kosi Bay Border Post.
This is the most Southern Border Post between South Africa and Mozambique.

Coco Rico Resort Accommodation - 8 sleeper self cater units.
They have 20 units that are air conditioned and fully equipped with kitchen appliances and cutlery.
DSTV, a small safe and linen are also provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

16 Duplexes - 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 - King size bed, En-suite.
Bedroom 2 - 2 x 3/4 beds pushed together, En-suite.
Bedroom 2 - 2 x ¾ beds and a bunk-bed.
Unit comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 children.

4 Simplexes - 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.
Bedroom 1 - King size bed, En-suite.
Bedroom 2 - 2 x 3/4 beds pushed together.
Bedroom 3 - 2 x bunk-beds.
Unit comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 4 children.

Units are serviced daily.

A communal swimming pool, restaurant and games room is available.

Kindly note the following:
All linen and bath towels are provided.
Bathroom towels will not be permitted to be used at the pool area or the beach.
Beach towels are not provided by the Resort.
Mosquito nets have been installed in all the bedrooms.
A charcoal stainless steel braai is provided in each unit. Charcoal can be purchased at reception.
No wood fires are allowed.

Other Information: Butchery available in Ponta D’ Ouro. If you do bring meat along, it must be vacuum packed.
Medical clinic is situated at Manguzi, 30 km from Ponta D’ Ouro.
You can bring groceries with you, including long life milk. Fresh bread, vegetables and fruit are available every day.
Petrol and diesel is available, cash only. There are a few restaurants available within walking distance.
