Mahelane Lodge

The private lodge is situated on the Eastern banks of the Lagoon in Bilene ,Mozambique.
The lodge offers privacy to our guests to experience a tranquil holiday getaway.
The guests can choose to enjoy the many kinds of exciting water activities, from Jet Ski’s to
boats ride and more, or simply enjoy walks along the white sandy beach while taking in the
view of breathtaking sunset of Mozambique. At Mahelane lodge we offer it all!

All the chalets offer views of the lagoon, and equipped with air-conditioning.
Our restaurant offers the best Portuguese cuisines and is sure to tantalize your taste-buds.

Chalets are not self-catering.
A full A-LA-CARTE restaurant is available.
All chalets do have Fans.

1. Chalets 1 (Sleeps 6).
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed.
The second bedroom has two single beds with a extended sleeping area in the lounge with two single beds.
Bedrooms have air cons / 1 safe and un stocked mini bar in lounge
Chalet 7 (Sleeps 6).- has all single beds.
Bedrooms have air cons / 1 safe and un stocked mini bar in lounge

2. Chalets 2, 6,7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 (Sleeps 4).  
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed. Two single beds in the extended sleeping area.
Bedrooms have air cons / 1 safe and un stocked mini bar in lounge.

Note! Chalets 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9. These chalets are situated higher than the other chalets.
Please take note of these chalets when making reservations at the lodge, as elders and
very young children may not be able to climb up to these chalets.

The Lodge is fully catered for with a full al a carte restaurant and fully stocked bars. Guests are
therefore NOT ALLOWED to bring their own drinks and food. We do not even offer a
corkage fee. Should a guest decide to have dinner on the main land, they will be responsible for their own
beach transfers, as we stop our boats at 20h30. It is also not allowed for boats to be on
the waters after this time, as the fishermen do their fishing through the night.
