Incomati River Camp is situated about 50 kilometres north of Maputo and on the Incomati River. The lodge is about 5 kilometres from the coast and is ideal for a weekend getaway or as a stopover on your way north to Xai-Xai. The camp offers accommodation in rustic tented en-suite chalets, raised on decks, and all with views of the river. A specialty of the camp is the delicious seafood cuisine, which is in abundance along the coast and for which is Mozambique is famous.

The camp offers canoeing trails and boat cruises on the river, as well as 4 x 4 access to miles of magnificent beaches, marine and coastal environments. Alternatively, explore the endless beaches, towering sand dunes, the indigenous coastal sand forests and the Incomati flood plains, which boast spectacular scenery, bird life and unique coastal eco-systems. If you are a ‘twitcher’ you are in for treat, the combination of riverine, bushveld and marine birds are in abundance and can be viewed from the camp or by taking a leisurely walk or boat trip. Most importantly, relax and absorb the beautiful scenery and the remoteness of the area.
