Aguia Negra,
with its tall A-framed chalets, blends in with the natural surroundings
and is only a stones throw away from the beach. The 12 en-suite
chalets (including a loft) are cosy havens with log furniture made
from indigenous wood and beautiful thatched roofs. Each chalet sleeps
6 people in three rooms (one double bed and four singles). All chalets
have mosquito nets on all the beds and hot and cold running water
and flush toilets in the bathroom. The chalets are serviced daily.
They are arranged in a semi circle around the swimming pool with
the restaurant and bar in the centre. All have verandas with a sea
view.
They Now have in addition to the A frame chalets, newly built chalets
with air-con, TV and Bar Fridge.
There are no self-catering facilities at Aguia Negra but the restaurant
serves all meals. There is an a la carte or set menu and lunch is
usually a seafood buffet. The upstairs bar has a large deck overlooking
the resort and ocean and is a great place for a sundowner. For sports
fanatics there is a satellite television in the bar.
There are excellent
opportunities for all types of fishing - fly fishing is becoming
increasingly popular, guests to have their own equipment.
