The campsite of Praia do Xai Xai is situated on the beach.
The accommodation is
extremely basic.
Reed Huts - There are 4, 3 and 2 bed, all with single beds. Guests must provide their own linen and mosquito nets. There is a braai area and central wash up area. Guests use the central ablutions in the camp site.
Brick chalets - 2 and 3 bed units with single beds. These are just as basic except they are en suite.
One self-catering chalet that sleeps 4 people. This has 1 bedroom and 2 people sleep in the open plan living area. Basic cutlery and cookery is supplied. There is a gas cooker and a fridge in the chalet.
Camping - There is lots of shade for campers to make themselves comfortable. Facilities are very basic and include hot water showers and flush toilets. Electricity is supplied by EDM and if campers would like the use of a plug point it is imperative to take an extension cable.
Power cuts are Not un common at the Xai Xai camp.
Please be advised that the Xai Xai camp is extremely basic and has not been upgraded in a long time so take as much supplies etc to make your stay comfortable.
