Vaquita Beach Lodge holiday beach house is situated on mainland Mozambique at
Praia de Barra, 20 km past the town of
Inhambane. You can reach
Vaquita Beach Lodge by traveling over land whilst exploring rural Mozambique into the tropical Inhambane province with thousands of Coconut palms. A 4x4 vehicle is necessary for 100 meter of beach sand to reach the lodge. There is an Airport in Inhambane with regular flights from JHB to Inhambane on LAM.
Vaquita Beach Lodge Accommodation

Vaquita consist of a main house connected by a walkway to 4 cabins with en-suite bathrooms. All build on wooden stilts just in front of the dune with great sea views that can be enjoyed from the deck’s. The main house is self-catering, bearing in mind that they provide the chef and the cleaning lady in order for you to enjoy your holiday as well.
The Main building - ground floor has
01 bed room with 4 beds and 01 bath room.
The building on the top floor has
01 bed room with 2 beds, 01 bathroom, lounge, kitchen and open deck.
The 04 Cabins have 2 beds in each, en-suite bathrooms and open deck.
Secure parking is provided for your vehicle in front of the cabins, and if you don’t want to bring your own boat for the excellent game fishing, you are welcome to book the one at the lodge.
Other activities consist of scuba diving and horse back riding available at
Barra lodge a kilometer to the left. You can always do your own thing exploring the reefs by snorkeling at low tide in front of the lodge or the old wreck at the point of the bay a mere kilometer away to the right of the lodge.
